Pop Up Screens are back again this summer. The film schedule kicks off Friday 6th July. With something for everyone, including classics such as Anchorman, Labryinth, Zoolander, Fight Club, Leon and Back to the Future. The super size screen will be visiting some of London’s best loved parks in Hammersmith, Morden, Acton, Lewisham, Fulham and Kilburn with the addition of pre film entertainment with stand up comedians, poets and digital art from the Live Live Project.
With refreshments available at each screenings from London Kettle Popcorn, fully stocked bar from Brewdog and Freedom Breweries. Also with great and exotic burgers from Tuckers Exotic Meat Shack, where you can try buffalo to ostrich to wild boar burgers, sounds interesting.
You can find the full film listings on their site here http://www.popupscreens.co.uk/. There is a range of ticket packages available, from individual tickets priced at £8, weekend passes to see all three films at any one location for £20 or the big one for a season ticket for £50.
Very much loving the fact Starbucks have a Frappuccino Happy Hour at the moment! Why did I not know this before!? The half price Frappuccino offer runs until the 5th June between 3-5pm. Hmmmm… where is the nearest Starbucks, could of definitely done with one of those today with my crazy mission across London going printing crazy for my forthcoming pop up exhibition. Next time, next time.
So after a very busy few weeks, things are now back on track. Both myself and Max have some exciting things in the pipeline. Max has recently left uni, to allow himself to focus purely on his own music production, of which his music has been featured on a Nissan advert. I have been kept very busy with my last term of my second year, both myself and a friend have set up a small creative platform for young artists and will be hosting our first pop up exhibition early next month. Which I am very excited about.
We do hope that everyone has been enjoying this beautiful weather at the moment, I think it is definitely pimms time.
